It’s been a while since darling and me explored the little island resort of Sentosa, so today’s exploration was quite a new and unique experience for us.
We started off from home late as we both succumbed to the Zzz monster… …(somehow I was always beaten by it….hope that 1 day I will triumph over the Zzzz
The late start did not dampen our moods but it made us more excited about Sentosa (well, at least I am… …)
First stop is Harbourfront station, then to Vivo city for our Sentosa monorail! This route has been quite familiar to us coz we are the veterans of Universal Studios Singapore!!

can't wait
Ok, we did try to follow the itinery but ultimately, we only have time for 2… …Haha, we decided to go for the Sentosa 4D Magix show as well as the “Songs of the sea”
We arrived at the Sentosa 4D Magix cinema and first in queue for the ticketing! Haha, think majority of the people going in are tour groups.

We bought our Combo tickets at $26 each, consisting of tickets to Desperdos and Pirates 4D.
Pirates 4D was supposed to be a “big production” and “fun and new” experience but it was a big disappointment. Both darling and me felt that the Shrek 4D show in Universal Studios was way better than this Pirates show. It was fun nonetheless but was not as fun as what we expected.

Next up, Desperados! Here is a short description, “Wild West, is a dusty town in the middle of nowhere is plagued by Desperados – a group of mean dreaded outlaws! The Sheriff needs your help. So take the ultimate sharpshooter test with Doc, the Chief of Sheriff Academy.
Aim well while riding up and down steep sand dunes as Doc will announce who’s worthy of a Sheriff’s star or be the donkey in town. Save the town and be the top marksman on this fast-paced and animated bumpy ride!” Sounds shiok right?? Actually holding a gun and use it during gameplay! We had 2 rounds of shooting and guess what? Darling was ranked 3rd in the top score rankings of round 1! The 2nd round saw me came in second too! Both darling and dar dar are sharpshooters!

After the 2 events, it’s almost 5+ pm. Our next event is watching the Songs of the Sea. Since we are early, we decided to go watch the Luge and skyride. The luge was dissapointingly slow! We saw others coming down the slope in a very slow speed! How not exciting =( So we just scraped idea of playing Luge.

We took the blue line bus and alighted at the Beach station where the Songs of the Sea is! To our horror, the tickets for the 7.40pm show was sold out!!! Then we were approached by a Sentosa inhouse toutagent who just told us to get the tickets from him if needed and he is selling at $10… sigh, initially we can have ours at a discount since we are Islanders….but we still paid him 10 bucks to get our tickets =)
Darling's favorite park is still around!
The Songs of the Sea was an amazing show! The backdrop was nice and the animation and laser show is cool as well. We are also treated to a short fireworks show at the end! Worth the 10 bucks! Good show!
All excited about the show. Background is cute Korean girl
